Kroon Lodge is situated in Kamieskroon, in the Namaqualand area of the Northern Cape, South Africa. The Lodge was developed on two stands which previously consisted of residential buildings and the old police station. All lights and fridges are solar powered and warm water is supplied by LPG geysers in order to be environmentally friendly. Kroon lodge is wheel chair and animal friendly.
Kroon Lodge consists of 15 en-suite rooms, each with their own veranda which includes a braai area. Each room is equipped with a fridge, hair dryer and tea/coffee facilities. A curio shop with arts, crafts and local home industry also forms part of the lodge. We also have a small shop on the premises where cold drinks, sweets, firewood, braai packs, etc can be purchased. Additionally, the lodge offers 14 campsites.

All rooms have built-in braai facilities. We can also provide two-plate stoves, microwave ovens, cooking utensils, crockery, and cutlery upon request for an additional fee.
All rooms are serviced daily and all linen, including towels, are provided.

Each campsite has a private covered braai area with a small basin including electricity and water points. All sites are pole-fenced on three sides to create a cosy, private area. Central ablution facilities contain showers and the ladies ablution also has a bathroom. Dish washing sinks and a coin operated washing machine are situated in the front of the ablution facilities. Grills for the braais are provided free of charge.
Please note that, pensioners, between the months of October and July, will only be charged R150 per person, per night.
